TEE BALL MINORS (League Ages 4 to 5)

Players born between September 1, 2020 and August 31, 2022

The Tee Ball Minors division is for league age 4 and 5 year olds and is a pure tee ball division (never coach pitch) designed to introduce our youngest players to the basics, fundamentals, and fun of baseball.

This is a non competitive division where players learn and practice fundamental baseball skills at an early age and receive maximum enjoyment from the experience. Tee Ball Minors players do not evaluate to play. There are no team standings or playoffs, and scores are not recorded. Players may request a coach (based on roster availability).

Games are typically played on Fridays and or Saturdays, but may be subject to change based on league size and field availability.

TEE BALL MAJORS (League Ages 5 to 6)

The Tee Ball Majors Division (formerly called Rookies) is a combination Tee Ball and Coach Pitch division for league age 5 and 6 year olds.

Five year olds must have at least one season of Tee Ball (or equivalent) experience to play in this division. League age 7 year olds who are new to the game or who need additional training and development may play in this division with approval from the Board of Directors.

This is a non competitive division where players learn, develop, and practice fundamental baseball skills while building confidence and enjoyment for the game. Tee Ball Majors players do not evaluate to play. There are no team standings or playoffs, and scores are not recorded. Players may request a coach (based on roster availability).

What divisions do you offer for Tee Ball?

We offer two Tee Ball divisions.

Tee Ball Minors (League Ages 4 to 5)

Pure tee ball only. No coach pitch. Designed for first time players and younger athletes learning the basics.

Tee Ball Majors (League Ages 5 to 6)

Combination tee ball and coach pitch. Designed for players with at least one season of tee ball or equivalent experience.

League age 7 year olds who are new to the game or need additional development may be placed in Tee Ball Majors with Board approval.

Because both divisions include league age 5, placement depends on age, experience, and development.

How do I know my child’s league age?

Little League uses “league age,” which is based on your child’s age on August 31 of the current season year, not today’s age.

Please use the official Little League calculator before registering:

https://www.littleleague.org/play-little-league/determine-league-age

Once you know your child’s league age, choose the appropriate Tee Ball division.

Can I request a coach or a teammate?

All requests must be entered during registration.

What paperwork is required for registration?

Depending on your player and prior seasons, you may be asked to upload:

A birth certificate
Proof of residency or school enrollment documentation

The registration system will guide you through what is required.

Please make sure all documents are clear and readable.

Incomplete registrations delay team formation.

I am having trouble with the registration system. What should I do?

Most registration issues come from:

Using multiple parent accounts
Forgetting which email was used previously
Trying to create a new player profile instead of selecting an existing one
Uploading documents from a mobile phone that fails to complete

Helpful tips:

Use the same parent account every season
Log in before starting a new registration
Check your spam folder for system emails
If a player does not appear, you may be logged into the wrong account

If you are still having issues, contact the league before creating a second account.

My child has never played baseball. Is Tee Ball appropriate?

Yes.

Tee Ball is designed specifically for first time players. No experience is required.

Coaches focus on basic skills, confidence, teamwork, and having fun.

How can I help my child be successful in Tee Ball?

The best ways to support your Tee Ball player:

Encourage effort, not results
Celebrate improvement
Keep it fun
Practice throwing and catching at home
Be positive in the stands

At this level, smiles matter more than scores.
